Meet Brooke. She is 12 days old and a very alert little girl! She’s so cute and I really enjoyed snuggling with her. Bennett [August 22, 2008 blog post] is loving his little sister and enjoyed holding her for me to capture some sibling shots. Congratulations to Big Brother Bennett and Mom and Dad!

Trash the Dress – Flower Girl Style October 18, 2008
Erin was a recent Flower Girl in a wedding and we headed back to the original site to do some Trash the Dress Flower Girl Style Shots! Definitely fun, even though Erin didn’t think so when we ended up on a nature walk. All in all, great shots, cute girl, and I think the dress is trashed from the “chocolate milk mud” as Erin called it!

Trash the Dress is a modern concept in photography. As woman, we wear the dress a few short times before we pack them away in a closet after spending a lot of money on them. Whether preserved or not, it is a long shot that “our” future daughters may wear them once again. Why not get some fun, artistic shots wearing the dress just one last time. Thank-you Kerry! As always, you are awesome to work with and I think it really comes through in the portraits!
